Brief History:
The Parish of Thennattu Gandhi Anna Nagar was
bifurcated from Ambattur and erected as an independent parish in the year 2004.
His Excellency, Rt Rev Dr Lawrence Pius Dorairaj, the Auxiliary Bishop blessed
and consecrated this Church. This Parish is entrusted to the Guanellian Priests
and the first Parish Priest is Fr John Joseph SDC. It has a substation in the
Tamil Nadu Housing Board area, called as Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel.
