Brief History:

It was found that there was a dire need of a Church in the locality between Nungambakkam and Kodambakkam parishes, around Loyola College.The Jesuit Fathers of Loyola generously donated a piece of land to erect a Parish Church in that area. This is the origin of St. Joseph’s Church erected on 2nd September 1985. A presbytery was also built there. The first Parish Priest was Fr Samuel Savio.

Sunday Mass – Timings/Language: 6.15 am, 7.30 am & 6.00 pm -Tamil 9.00 am ? English Eucharistic Chapel Timings: 5.30 am to 9.00 pm
